A Global Economy vs. A Strong Nation

Hard truths.

Maybe we are just to comfortable with our present lives that we don't see what's wrong.

"How developed a nation is, is not dependent on how strongly the nation is striking forward, but how little people they leave behind."

Yes, definitely, we are doing extremely well as a global economy. But as a nation, I guess we just ain't there yet, maybe not even close.

National identity will soon be diluted. We will soon become a mercenary nation. Then, at the slightest armed conflict, we will fall into the 'dustbins' of history.

Even so, I hope someone else can learn from us.
