Thoughts about my birthday

okay, i'm keeping this simple.

First of all, this is the BEST birthday i've spent so far, in my eighteen years of life. so i REALLY wanna thank you people who took part in my birthday celebrations. you're the people who made these celebrations possible, and you're the people who enlighten me about what the word 'FRIENDS' really meant.

secondly, the most surprising part of my birthday is the fact that xinyun came. well, it's not the most 'GRAND' thing, but it's the thing that is 'out of my expectations' ALSO, SHE CAME WITH PRESENTS CAN. ALL YOU PEOPLE NEVER BUY PRESENT NOT SHY HUH. LOL. just joking only la. come can alr, no need presents one.

thirdly, i felt extremely disappointed the morning i was about to celebrate my birthday with my class. BECAUSE, firstly, marcus said he cannot come, because he have sore eyes. secondly, daniel said he cannot come, because he have family stuff. i mean, i REALLY WANTED to cancel the class outing. but i didn't. basically, i still have the rest of the class to face. it would have made things worse if i cancelled it, wouldn't it?

all in all, i'm really glad that you people are willing to spend some time from your studies and celebrate my birthday with me.

THANKS
alot alot of thanks!

you can come out with a million and one excuse to why you are unable to be present. But, the truth is, i don't really care.(that's always the case, unless i can empatize with you and find common ground in agreement that you shouldn't come.)Once you say that you are able to make it, don't break your word. Instead, try your best to uphold what you say. I wouldn't be angry if you told me from the start that you wouldn't be able to make it here. Listen, and listen well, IT IS NOT WHAT WE SAY, BUT BY WHAT WE DO THAT DEFINES US.

this is not a personal attack on anyone, but i believe this is how everyone else will think in the society. And i believe i'm not thinking too far. The fact that we want others to respect us as mature adults is our first step into the society. And we have to WORK to EARN this respect. Think about it.
